Doñana Natural Area and El Rocío from Seville

During the winter, we will start the tour in Seville. Then we’ll drive on a 4x4, to the town of Coria del Río, located by the Guadalquivir River, door of the Doñana wetland. From there, we will go to the largest white stork colony in Europe, north of the marshes, where thousands of birds will receive us. We will pass through the most important rice field in Spain and the cinematographic Minima Island. The marshlands are home of 200,000 birds. More than 300 types, visit the area every year. This makes it, the most important natural space in the continent. We will continue the route through the northern area of the National Park, until we reach the village of El Rocío. Here we will stop to visit it, along with its famous Sanctuary. This town keeps the atmosphere of the far west, with its white houses, sandy streets and horses that still walking along them. It is, a unique place in the world.

Later on, we will walk with our guide, to visit couple of Palaces and the Doñana National Park trails. We’ll stroll along the stream of La Rocina. The route will be suitable for all visitors. Then will have time, to have lunch close to the sea. After this we will continue our visit, to get to the beach. There, we’ll discover the largest dune system in our country. Later, we will enjoy a beautiful sunset, while driving through the pine forest at the Asperillo area. We might be able to see, some of the large animals, that inhabited the Doñana area. The development of the route may vary according, to the time of year and weather conditions. During the summer, we depart very early, by 4x4, to go directly the National Park. We will to try to watch, the most number of the large animals, at dawn. Afterwards we will visit El Rocío, the rest of the ecosystems. At the end of our visit will have a chance, if we wish to, to get into the ocean, before getting back to the city.
